Well, its August and its Crete and the only TGers to make it here are Corina (with her charming son, Lucas) and yours truly. No Ness and no Miss Ale, which is a great pity but at least we are here to hold up the flag. So, we have been singing away together and working on some songs and we'd like to share a new one here. Its John Lodge's Emily's Song (written after the birth of his daughter) from The Moody Blues Every Good Boy Deserves Favour album. Its a beautiful song and we play it here with Miss Ale in mind, if I could have written a song for my daughter, I'd have loved it to be this one.... even if she is all grown up now!

Hi guys, thanks for tuning in Vanessa, Daryl, David, Bart, Willem, Shel and Jean! We certainly are enjoying the fabulous weather here (Crete has a warm, sunny but air-conditioned climate). Glad you enjoyed our song. Our days here are a mix of sun, relax, swimming, singing, playing Chess (Lucas and I) drinking ouzo (Corina and I!) and finding wonderful restaurants to eat sun-filled fresh food and travelling the landscape for mountains and sea vistas. Last night, star gazing was on the menu up a mountain above the sea at Moni Preveli. Today its more relax, song and...we will see! Maybe a video or two on the way.
