This is a song I've been working on for a long time. I've tried several different ways of playing it using a thumb pick. The bass always sounded to overbearing. This time I just used my bare thumb, just flesh no nail. I also played it on my Taylor 914. I was going to do it with a video but decided I wanted the song to be the focus because I'm very pleased with the way it came out. I hope you all enjoy it!

Wow Bill,
How beautiful that is!!! BTW, I loved the slide show, but I could still see you in my minds eye while the song was playing. I feel like I have heard you play and sing this song before, maybe at camp??

Thank you so much for sharing this song with us! I will watch and listen to this many times. (Your Taylor sounded great)

Bart

EDIT: Okay, now I've listened again tonight to this performance. I must say that you alternating thumb is so steady, really perfect! Just so wonderful to listen to. The song fits your voice perfectly too, silky smooth.

Wonderful Bill! Just loved it. Really nice playing and your voice carries these songs perfectly. Great sound again. That may well be the first Jackson Brown song posed to date.

You have a knack for covering my favourite artists, this was another fine job, well done, really enjoyed it. Sweet guitar playing and vocals. :)

That was excellent!!
The soothing sound of the steady deeper notes and your voice to complete the scenery in my mind.
How wonderful to slide into a warm environment, where one could almost smell the herbs and dry-sweet scent of the desert wind... like a blanket of warmth against my skin.

Yes, you've given us another masterpiece from your hand. I'm a fan, yet you already knew ;)

Corina
