I think you gotta throw lots of props at a singer/songwriter who was called out by the Eagles in their seminal documentary as one of the major influences who taught them what that art was about. Yes Sir! JB goes back a long way in the California pop music scene. He talks about his early days in his song "The Barricades Of Heaven". He refers to "The Paradox", "The Bear", and "The Rouge et Noir". They were night clubs in southern California where he and his friends would play and sing in the early 60's. Another song of pure poetry. I can't get enough of JB.
