Thank you Bart, Dennis, Bob and Kevin. It was a joy to post this song. A song with so much lyrical impact. Two of you listening to this while teens?? I was married and had one child in 1977. Now I really do feel old...thanks loads :) .

That was just beautiful Bill. Another winner, I love Jackson Browns' great music.

Thanks much Tom! In my opinion Jackson Browne ranks near the top of the singer-songwriter era of the 60's and 70's and beyond. I'm working on a few more.

FWIW I agree. I think you gotta throw lots of props at a singer/songwriter who was called out by the Eagles in their seminal documentary as one of the major influences who taught them what that art was about. A true musical genius by any metric. :side:

Yes Sir! JB goes back a long way in the California pop music scene. He talks about his early days in his song "The Barricades Of Heaven". He refers to "The Paradox", "The Bear", and "The Rouge et Noir". They were night clubs in southern California where he and his friends would play and sing in the early 60's. Another song of pure poetry. I can't get enough of JB.
