Maybe you and David should do a heavy metal sort of song next? ;-)

A heavy-metal ballad? Isn't that an oxymoron?

Lovely. lovely song Shel. So cool to see how this developed, like a photograph, from the thread. Touching lyrics with a charming melody line and nice work from your resident TZZ guitarist! Its pretty impressive to see how you can churn out a great song in such a short time from inspiration to published video. TZZ rock!

Well done 'Shell and David. It seems Michele that the best songs are written from real memories and experiences and you have just proven the case. Well done, loved the fills as well David, just perfect. Another great job from The Timezone Zombies.

Shel,
Thanks for the clarification about your grandfather. That makes the song even more meaningful for me as I have two grandchildren who call me Pop (or Pop-Pop). I have a work shed they love to visit. Funny how family things like that live in many times and places. My granddaughter calls me "Pop Dog" You might remember seeing her and her brother in my Facebook video "Waffle Making With Pop-Pop".

A song? Maybe, who knows what might Pop into my head :P

So again, thanks so much for the emotion/memory evoking song.

Bill
