Here is a rendition of Wild World by Cat Stevens. I have always loved this song so I thought I would give it a go. Let me know what you think and also what suggestion you have that would help move it along. Bud

Hello Buddy,

Great to see this song posted! I really like your voice, as usual.

If I were going to have a suggestion for you, it would be to try to add more percussion to the rhythm with down beats and palm muting.

Thanks for sharing your talent!

Bart

Hi Buddy great song to cover and you did a fine job.

It was a bit hard to tell but it looks like you are using a Cmaj chord where I use a Cmaj7.

Am, D7, G, Cmaj7

great to see you

Bob

This is a great song for you to tackle Buddy as it fits your voice well. Sound and video look, you have pretty much perfected by now so your videos are always well delivered. Well done and thanks for posting!

Great job Buddy. This is a great song and the runs are tough, but you pulled them off. I agree with Bob R, the C's in the verse are Cmaj7. Try it and you'll see that the B on the second string matches the vocal note. Thanks for posting another great song.

Hi Bob, good to hear from you. Thanks for the tip on the Cmaj7 chord. I was really torn on weather to play this in Cmaj7 or Cmaj as I liked the sharper sound of the Cmaj. I know that the Cmaj7 is used in the original but sometimes I just go with what feels better to me.

Thanks for listening, Bud

Late to the party, but love this rendition!

I'm far from being up to the point where I can prod at bass notes and dominant sevenths but I grok rhythm and tone and you nailed this song. :side:

Looking forward to more!

Mark
