Busking Doug Young's Shenandoah, by CarolM242
I had heard of this song before IGC 2017, but when I heard Rob M. play this on the first night at open mic, it brought tears to my eyes- so beautiful!! It became one of those songs I felt I just have to learn. So I had the honor and privilege of being able to sit down with Doug Young at camp, and go over the arrangement, and I've been practicing it ever since!! It's not perfect, fraid it never will be, but I think I am happy enough with it to be brave enough to share it with y'all...
Thank you Rob, for being such an inspiration, and thank you Doug, for helping me learn your beautiful arrangement of this tune!

What a fantastic job you did Carol!
I have to say, as Chris did before as well I think, the camera angle is really great in order to see how you're hands are moving. And they're moving great.
In any way, I'm impressed!!
Big hug to you,
Ness

That was beautiful Carol. Your fingers really flow across the fretboard nicely. Your guitar sounds great. I took the liberty of listening to some of your other videos on YouTube since they were right there and available. I enjoyed all of them. Keep up the great work. Hope to see you at camp again maybe in 2018.
