I think the 'Shee' is also taken to refer to the hills in Ireland where the fairies and elves lived..( actually they may still be there of course) ie commonly called the 'fairy hills'. i've therefore more generally seen the title translated as 'small hill, big hill'.Great job Carol, it’s a beautiful Irish tune and the name translates to big fairy Little fairy I’m told. You play it well.

Fairy Hills seems to be the translation right enough.

David, I think you missed the link I posted to a good translation ( Verse -Verse) of the song.think the 'Shee' is also taken to refer to the hills in Ireland where the fairies and elves lived..( actually they may still be there of course) ie commonly called the 'fairy hills'. i've therefore more generally seen the title translated as 'small hill, big hill'.
Fairy Hills seems to be the translation right enough.

Hi Carol
I have not looked at the forum for quite some time. It was such a nice surprise to see your video post, what a fantastic job you did. I hope I have the chance to hear you play it in real life at camp. Your video was an inspiration to me to keep playing and even to make a post of my own sometime soon.
take care
Eric
