Here's an acoustic snapshot of Corina trying out Gordon Lightfoot's Beautiful for the first time (after Neil's guitar part lay asleep in her computer for almost a year :unsure: )! Arms were twisted :laugh: .... but I think the result is... Beautiful!

Corina is visiting and I digitally transposed Neil's original recording up 3 frets and shoved the camera in her face after a couple of try outs..... enjoy!

PS: Doesn't this cry out for a LESSON? B) :cheer:

And now with another guitar part added-

Love the tongue at the end. I'm sorry to say that I have never heard this song before but it was, yep, beautiful. Nicely sung Corina. Chris, could you also put up a link to Neil's original video?

Thanks for tuning in Daryl and Kev (where ya bin bro?).

There is an original mp3 recording Neil sent Corina, Daryl, but no vid if that's what you mean. We hope Neil will redo his playing in the key of E as the original was in C and I transposed it. E fits Corina's range. And we are hoping for a lesson :laugh:

If Neil's original MP3 was in C and you transposed it up 3 frets (3 half step) isn't that Eb? ( C -> C# -> D -> Eb )

Corina, your vocals are wonderful, as always!

Chris, your stable of guitars is looking real nice there!

Thanks for sharing this!

Corina and Chris (and of course Neil),

That WAS beautiful... but the description hardly cover how fabulous it was. Corina your sensitivity makes for such a strong emotional connection with the audience ... even though you hardly looked at the camera except for the cheeky end. :) Gorgeous!

And of course Neil’s playing was really lovely.

Chris - good job on the production magic.

That was a wonderful surprise.

That’s a really pretty song Corina and as usual your voice sounds beautiful and Neil is playing to perfection. Nice job of putting that all together for us Chris. :)
