What a wonderful performance!
And your kids are progressing SO much!
Your daughter sounds really good!! This song is way more in her vocal range, so i can now hear more clearly how great she sounds, awesome!
The audio of the drums is a tad out of since with the rest, so it can't really tell how well he does timing wise. But i absolutely love everything he does, all the little fills, stuff with the cymbals, name it. How freeform is he? Is it all written down for him? Does he improvise? Or a combination of both? All in all, I think he's great!! (how old is he?)
Very nice work on the solo too and I love the break at the end!

thanks so much for the feedback everyone!

I will try to nudge the drum audio more in sync, thanks
Ryan recently turned 12. His teacher gave him a rough outline for the song, but he does fairly well with improvising fills. I don't think he had anything written for this. He does very well as the youngest member of the middle school jazz band and managed to win an outstanding soloist award at his first jazz competiiton.
Enjoying the time before the little girl leaves for college in the fall

Like a family recording a cover of this song represents anything resembling a threat to the financial well-being of...well, anyone.
I am all in on respecting artists and their making a fair living from their art...but this? This is simply stupid.
Okay, rant off. Wish I could have enjoyed your recording, brother. B)
Sigh.I tried watching your video but it has been blocked
