This is a breakfast session on a sunny public holiday here. Not a great idea to try and sing probably the best male pop singer of his generation and certainly not so early in the day with a rough voice but what can you do, Corina had to catch a flight back home! B)

By the time we'd cleared away the breakfast things, the sun was behind us, hence not the best camera angle. There's a bit of wind rattle on the stereo mics too.

Just for fun. :)

Chris and Corina,

Nice to see and hear you both having musical fun in the sun.

Smiling here. Big hugs to you both, sweet friends.

Nice one Chris and Corina, looks like a mighty fine day for a song in the garden. :)

Brilliant job Chris. I think I have seen you doing a few recording in outside locations. That is something I would like to do, I have quite a nice garden and it is lovely to sit and play but I would have no clue how to record outside. Maybe just sit in front of my ipad and see how it goes.

Thanks for tuning in Bob, Craig, Shel, Tom and Eric! Was a very nice weekend and a nice, lazy 1 pm breakfast  , the way I like 'em!
We were going through songs we have never looked at before and found a few that may stick.

It really doesn't take much to record outside Eric, just grab the pad and go! Sun and wind can throw a spanner in the works but provided its fairly quiet outside, it should be a doddle  . I did add some reverb in post production but otherwise its one take, as is.

Lovely! I adore GM, and consider him not only a voice of historic beauty but one of the greatest poets of my lifetime. You guys did him proud.

Thanks for sharing that! :side:

Thanks for tuning in Mark! Yes a voice of sheer beauty.... and he wrote some magical songs, Jesus to a Child, for example.

Yes, that's a real gem. I'm working up a cover of Waiting for that Day I'd hoped to bring with me to IGC. I'll share a recording when I feel it's up to snuff. :side:
