I tried to put this on the student review section. I got a message that it was uploaded but it isn't showing up, so I thought I would try here. I am an avid (my wife would say fanatic) fly fisher. A few springs ago the run off was very big and lasting longer than normal so I was unable to get out fishing. This song was the result of my frustration: The Runoff Blues.

Great to see you've found a way Michael!

In any way, about to turn off the lights here (in Holland), will come back later for a more elaborate comment.

Many thanks for posting!

Michael,
This is very good. I love the Blues and all the cool songs that come out of it. You have some real nice fills and turnarounds, so it is interesting and just a bit different each verse. And I love the chords you finished with. Good job!

That was great Michael! A lot of old blues songs had double entendres. As you were singing I couldn't help wondering about the runnoff blues and muddy water

It is snowing like crazy just out my window so it seemed an appropriate time to share my latest song. When I started this song in December it was going to be about the winter landscape here in the mountains. Somehow as I started on the verses they ended up being about my mom. So here is the first recording of "So Lonely", dedicated to Elma, may she rest in peace.

I've loaded the video onto the student review section. It should show up later. I posted a much better audio file to SoundCloud. It is available here:
