Thanks all very much.

Izzy I would have love to mention everyone but it would have sounded like Subterranean Homesick Blues. lol. I walk around all day with all sorts of weird stuff going through my head, and that won't change once the competition is over!

Oh 1 other point. I've been playing a little longer than since May Keith (Since last January)...but May rhymed.

I had a request for the lyrics:

When I first got my guitar, I didn’t know how to play

sat down with my laptop, think it was back in May

I was surfing on you tube found a guy who could play

I really dug his teaching style and he had something so say

There sat Neil in his loud shirt, I heard his message clear

Take the lessons I give you, and you’ll play without fear

Then he started his strumming, and he showed me his way
And now I’ m addicted, and I just wanted to say

Chorus

Thank you to TG and its members

Came here on a hunch

Found such a great bunch

There’s plenty to do on TG and the forum

Any time of year, you will find us here

Andy in Hawaii, and Al he says Aboot

I’d give a shout to all my TG friends but I know I’d leave some oot

I’d like to mention Dennis but I couldn’t find a rhyme

So Bear, Bill Chris, Suz and Shelly better luck next time

So I’ll turn to Neil’s crew, and say thank you for the site

it gives us all a place to go when we can’t sleep at night

I know my friends all agree that this site is pretty good

I myself would be completely sold if I could play Norwegian Wood

Chorus and 1 more run through

I Love it, love it, love it. Great playing, great singing, great lyrics. I think you've really captured the spirit of the competiton. I too was smiling all the way through.

Good luck Tony!

Michele
