I'm finding it more and more difficult to even want to put my entry in! All the entries so far have been stellar! Back to my mixing board....

Awesome Chas! Hadn't heard too much slide guitar on this site yet. You really kicked it up a notch. Good luck with your entry.

Thanks Guys

Chris everyone has a chance, you don't though if you don't enter, Now wasn't that profound!

Willem, I know you've been wanting some Blues so you were part of my inspiration to do this.

Tom, I've had a couple of posts in the past about slide, not sure that Neil really likes slide, I recall he mentioned something not right about taking a hunk of Glass or steel to a perfectly good guitar once lol

Chas, Wow, I love the sound of that slide guitar playing! Totally cool and now something that I want to learn. Great lyrics and great playing. And, not sure if it's been mentioned yet (didn't read all the comments), great hat!

Great job, Chas. You're the first Kiwi Scot I've ever seen singing the blues. That's worth points right there.

Thanks guys

Suzi, Hats are now compulsory, and yes slide is fun to play , I just enjoy jamming mostly

Wadestar, Thanks again buddy for sourcing the original music without that this may never have happened.

Dennis, It was an experience Dennis I can tell ya, I've never pretended to be a singer and have no great aspirations either, back up in a band ok but out front different, I was gonna play Slide Bagpipes on a Bluegrass tune but thought better!!
