Any disco band and any 80's "hair" band also. I have never really cared for Lynryd Skynyrd nor the Rolling Stones. The Stones should have given it up back in the 70's, since nothing they've done since then is worth the vinyl (old school, I know) it's pressed on.

For me it's Bruce Springsteen. I just don't get it. I managed to go through his entire 20 greatest in about 2 minutes by using the skip button
Yes! Good call Mark! I was thinking about bands I can't stand and then you mentioned Springsteen. Bingo!! The other one I can't stand is John Mellonhead, I mean Mellencamp!

And each and every one of the 80's big hair bands. What a waste!!

If we're adding solo artists I'd have to include Springsteen as well, and throw in Jackson Browne too.

Also all those sappy ballad performers, like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, etc. etc. etc....

Pop artists don't count! How about bands with talented musicians that make music that you can't stand.

"The Boss" is a pop artist, regardless of what his overdriven butterscotch telecaster says.

Let's bash people that can actually play their instruments! It's way more fun to attack a successful, talented musician, than a pop singer with no soul. Let's go!

turn out to be the longest thread ever! :woohoo:

Tom Petty has earned a bust in the 'TG Hall Of Shame' too.
