I had forgotten about Jose , I haven't heard him play for years deserves a mention here thats for sure. Look up Rodrigo y Gabriela not quite the same genre but nevertheless great to listen to.

Less well known but really outstanding- Richard Gilewitz (check Youtube.com), David Nachmanoff (backup guitarist for Al Stewart), Doug Smith, Terry Robb

Rock- Steve Howe, Stephen Stills, Martin Barre, Jorma Kaukonen
