I prefer Boyce Avenue's "Bleeding Love" to the original.

I was just listing 'Great Big Sea' on the Canadian music thread and remembered this song!!

GREAT take on 'End of the World' by REM.

Can't really say this is better, but I really like this cover. Mahogany Rush had some good tunes back in the day..... Here is their version of Norwegian Wood

..a continuation of my Haydain Neale post on the Canadian music thread. Here's his cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' hit 1979.

I'm reviving an old, but very fun, thread.

A couple of months back one of my favorite websites for pop culture, the AV Club, started a feature where they asked 25 bands to come into their studio, and had them pick a song off of a list of 25 songs that the AV Club had chosen. Some of the covers have been less than inspired, but some of the artists really made the song their own. Today's entry was possibly my favorite so far: Clem Snide covering Journey's "Faithfully," done as a solo piece with a ukelele. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did:

p.s. The song starts about a minute into the video

Thanks Suzi, I really enjoyed it. This guy has so much talent. I am not a big fan of Uke as I find they sound too nasal, but this guy add so much feeling by playing really smooth, almost like regular nylon string guitar.
