I added another video of 'Angel Eyes'. See if you can open that. Thanks Al, I knew of him but didn't know any details. Impressive as you say.
Can't view that video on Youtube in my country!
How about a cover that's BETTER than the original!

One of my favorite covers is The White Stripes doing a cover of the Dolly Parton song Jolene.

Thank you suziko for Introducing me to Jonathan Coulton.
This song is from the Target lessons: Though the original Leonard Cohen does a pretty interesting rendition, there is no one who compares to Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah. Incredible...
I also happen to like the Iron and Wine version of Such Great Heights more than The Postal Service's version -- though both are good. This is an easy tune to play, by the way, as well.

I like the Iron and Wine cover of Such Great Heights, too; it's not necessarily better, but just different. I recently heard a metal version of it which was not really to my taste, but it certainly is interpreting the song in a new way:
Like many of Dylan's songs I heard this song by another artist before I ever heard it from Dylan, in this case "it ain't me babe" done by Johnny Cash, a great cover in my opinion. I also thought it was a highlight in the film "Walk the Line".
