Just a side note to the above question.

He went on to become more famous than either Becker or Fagan or probably even Steely Dan, but not as a musician.

Ric

Ok, try these.

1. This band remade Bob Dylan's Knockin' On Heaven's Door and Paul McCartney's Live & Let Die.

2. What was the song which was the sole U.S. Top-40 hit for this Scottish band in the mid-70s, was a remake of a song released in 1961 by both the Everly Brothers and Roy Orbison.

3. This song is one of Queen's most well-konwn, but many people fail to realize that it is a gay-anthem.

Ric

Okay Ric, here's my guess;

1. Guns N' Roses
2 Average White Band (guess?) "All I Have To Do Is Dream"
3. Bohemian Rhapsody
Yes on #1, No on 2 and 3

Okay Ric, you're making me work for this one. The answer to number 2 is "Love Hurts" as recorded by Nazareth, and written by Roy Orbison.

I'll take a swipe at number 3 with "Killer Queen" from "Sheer Heart Attack".

I'm running out of gay anthems Ric. For my next guess, "Find Me Somebody To Love". BTW, this and the last one come from a web article entitled "Notable Gay Anthems".

And still more.

1. What 1983 pop hit featured Eddie Van Halen on guitar?

2. This album was Black Sabbath's biggest seller, and became a Top 40 Bestseller and went multi-platinum?

3. Gene Simmon's original band was [blank] before he quit to join KISS?
