Monte Montgomery is sort of a regional favorite here in Texas. He's really starting to get noticed as he travels the country and abroad. If you don't know who this guy is, check his website (www.montemontgomery.net) or just do a search on youtube.

He would have a perfect fit for the old "Armadillo World Headquaters" in Austin. I wasted many wonderful evenings with some great music in that place back in the early 1970s....or at least as best as I can remember.

I completely agree haoli! Still, it's always great to catch him in the small Austin Venues. Im greatful that I still can do that, it's nice to see great musicians before they become comercial and out of reach. I've talked with Monte several times between sets.
