Just had to share this with you.
I bought a guitar magazine recently, and it had a feature on Chet Atkins and Jerry Reid, with a link to this youtube video, I never knew of this.
All I can say is wow :woohoo:

Both were Monster Guitar players as well as innovators. Chet was interviewed once and was asked who he would pay to see play and he said, Doyle Dykes, when asked who was the best player he ever seen he quickly answered "Bar None Jerry Reed."
Pretty high accolades.
Listen to Reeds "The Claw" finger picking a gut string and it sounds like a multitracked guitar part.

I think he did a song called Eastbound and Down. I like that one.

A very fine guitarist indeed! I especially enjoyed him when he played with that all-star band with Earl Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs, Steve Martin, Vince Gill and a few other notables. :cheer:
