Going to see two all-time favorites tonight, here in Atlanta. We are going to James Taylor and Carole King. My wife and I met 38 years ago and we would listen to both and have many memorys of listening to the songs together. While we have seen James in concert we never saw Carole so this should be quite a treat. From everything I've read they have put on a great show.
I'll report back tomorrow!

I'm jealous! Sounds like a lot of fun. I am a big fan of both performers. I have been looking for a good rendition of "So Far Away" for guitar, but have yet to find one. Can't wait to hear about your night out!
Have a great time!

Well what a magicial experience last night. We were transported back to the 70's on a ride that I didn't want to end. These two artist meant alot to me then and over the years. After the break up of the Beatles my listening went toward the easier side of music and these two filled the bill. Two see them perform together, well they fit together like hand in glove. Carole did almost the entire Tapestry album, and James did all the right songs. Listening to them play You've Got a Friend, Up on the Roof Sweet Baby James, A rocking set of Smackwater Jack (Carole on Guitar as well).
Anyway it is worth see ing them or getting the CD.
This concert will be in my head a long while. And hopefully inspire me to learn Fire and Rain finally.
