Talent helps in music, but being really, really ridiculously good looking helps a lot as well. Sexy sells.

I'm starting off with this woman, don't have a particular love of her music but I love the way she moves. (They don't all need to be women either, I'm sure there are some beautiful guys out there as well!)

I have heard the opinion expressed that many contemporary video clips are really just soft porn so I guess this thread has potential to offend. Please, if you think you might object to a gyrating woman...give the video and the thread a miss.

I do like her music. It is impossible to listen to it without dancing, especially when no one's watching and you've got the freedom to dance with no fear.

No one can deny that Shakira can dance. She has those classic belly dancing moves working for her big time. And yes she's gorgeous to boot.

Wow Tony, at first I thought you had shot a video of my wife on stage, then I realized she had not been to Australia lately.

You're right Chas, it's all a matter of definition. Certainly an angelic voice which is beautiful. No doubting this one. Look and talent to burn:

Actually, what got most of my attention in the Duffy video (before last one) is the (awkward) concept of a dozen guys doing gymnastics while dressed in full business suits ... I must remember to inquire about their brand of deodorant.
