Nowhere do we seem to have a place for Flamenco. I am putting this up as its a brilliant piece by Tierra Negra and new teacher Muriel Anderson "Fantasia De Fuego from their album New World Flamenco

I'll second that about this album being very good, if you're into Flamenco this is a must have
Hope this link works, very interesting insight into these guys and their music
You're right, Chas, BRILLIANT is the word! I will certainly be buying that CD. Thanks for posting it.

I just got this message from Muriel ..
NEW WORLD FLAMENCO is in the running for "best Contemporary World Album," Muriel Anderson and Tierra Negra with Danny Gottlieb on drums, Victor Wooten and Mark Egan on bass. It has had fabulous reviews, and for their first year touring in the USA, all 23 shows have been met by standing ovations. If you or someone you know is a Grammy member, voting begins this week, so please spread the word!

Thanks for the info Chas and Matt. I've been listening to Muriel's music this morning. WOW!
I've just lodged a request for "Fastasia de Fuego" as performed by Muriel (or something similar).
Here is the link if anyone would like to support the request.
