Tony, good thread! As everyone realizes, impossible question. So. I'm glad you clarified with a "present" Beatle song. I've been on a Magical Mystery Tour kick lately, (always thought it was an underrated album)...so at this moment it would be
Strawberry Fields

Tony- I've always claimed that I wasn't a big Beatles fan but when I thought about your question I realized that there are really a lot of their songs that I like. While Norwegian Wood, Michelle and Yesterday are all at the top of the list, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away has to be my favorite! :cheer:

So many to choose from, but I gotta go with Good Day Sunshine. Has some very happy memories associated with it.

Maybe Eight Days A Week.... or I Want To Hold Your Hand...
Simple songs, early ones, but still great nonetheless.

Another thought provoking question. Alright then, favorite Beatles tune is TNTC. But I've got to go with "Two of Us" from Let It Be.

Runner up is

from SPLHCB.

Bit of trivia from Andy's answer. I was reading on the weekend that generally, Paul would drop over to John's home to write tunes. Usually he would drive himself in his Aston Martin (nice work!) but on one occasion he got a chauffeur who complained that he had been working "8 days a week". When he got to John's place, John quickly thought up the line "Oh I need your love babe"...and another hit was born. Easy eh!

A year ago I would have said Here Comes the Sun, but after playing it almost daily for the past few months, I admit that I've grown less fond of it. So I'll go with Eleanor Rigby.
