Well that was interesting. Just goes to show, you never can tell what can come back to haunt you from your youth.

Good find, Tammy. He is still one of my all time favorite guitar players. This was from his pre-guitar pick days. :)

That clip is brilliant Tammy on several levels. First of all, getting a gimps of the start of a rock legend almost before there was rock and another is to see the meeting of the establishment and the very first generation of teenagers. In that clip the teenagers were still just younger versions of the adults they were supposed to become (and acting that way!) and the adult obviously had never seen a young person before as his condescending attitude was only eclipsed by his utter ineptitude in trying to find some sort of question to ask of the strange species he'd just discovered! This was how the Beatles started out too. The presenter is a famous and well loved person at the time (his name now slips my mind) and he was the best the BBC had to cover these "young" themes like skiffle players. You have to remember it was only 12 years after the end of WWII and there was no inkling of the pending arrival of the worlds first teenager generation. No wonder the presenter did such a wooden job.
