The private concert was last night! I can't begin to describe how cool it was.. so I'll upload a few videos to this thread for those that are interested.

Peter is not only an amazing singer/songwriter- but also a genuine, down to earth person. I can't think of a better way to spend an evening than what we did last night.

Here's the first video- his new song "Days & Nights". Check out his use of looping effects on this song. Puts my toys to shame!!

Here's a few more..

Thanks Al, Nice looping effects as you said. And just a really cool song. It looks like it must of been a nice time. Any new toys in your future? ;)

Great performance! That must have been a lot of fun. I can't help but feel a little sorry for you, Al, you have many more toys to buy now. B)

Hey Bob & Bill,

It's one thing to buy the toys- quite another to learn to use them as well as Peter.
I think I've still got some learnin' to do!

BTW- I uploaded a few more songs above..

Al, I missed a show Peter Katz did this winter here in Montreal in an intimate venue :(

Thanks so much for rubbing it in ! ;)

My time shall come again ... meanwhile, this is the next best thing !

That's too bad Pierre. Make sure you catch him next time he comes through. And make sure you chat with him as well. VERY approachable person.

Awesome Al! Thanks for posting.

Peter can't deny the U2 influence on the first song :-). Brilliant use of the technology. How do you make sure you don't stuff up the timing of one of the loops? I assume that if you slightly miss time the stomp, you're screwed. Wrong?
