The sad passing of Bert Jansch

Just heard that Bert Jansch lost his battle with cancer this morning.

Having just seen him perform with Pentangle at the end of July this has left me a little numbed. A great and pioneering guitarist.

This is really sad news.

He was a great and influential guitarist.

Hopefully Neil will do some of his songs as lessons

We guitarists lost a real master when Bert passed. He never got the acclaim he was due, at least not in this country. The Brits seem to appreciate real talent more than we do.

I hope he's entertaining the angels now.

R.I.P. Bert. You left quite a legacy.
