No, not for president... just for a lesson on this beautiful song: The Sand and the Foam.
It would be a wonderful song to pick and sing ... and this site needs at least ONE Dan Fogelberg song... don't you agree?
Vote here please:

Thanks folks... this song and artist is so worth it!

Good choice Chris! Innocent Age was a fantastic album. But there are so many great DF songs out there. Wisteria, The Minstrel, and so many others. We just need more Dan. :cheer:

Thanks for the back up guys! It really would be a great song to kick off DF's career at TG!

Rick, I think the Innocent Age must be the most played album in my house... after the Moddy lues albums maybe... but just maybe...

:( Dennis, you just called me a woman! Sahib would have been ok... but i don't mind, there are no punkawallas on the site to know the difference. :)
Living in the far east we did have an Amah (no punkawallah though!) and my mother was called Memsahib and my father Sahib a number of times... and I do this great Indian accent...

It's those damned American TV detective shows. You just can't trust 'em to dispense accurate language lessons.

... on the other hand the British comedy shows were full of the colonial Indian dialects and accents
