Mark, you were born on the day of the moonwalk? (And not an early incarnation of a Micheal Jackson dance. lol) Wow, man that
is so ridiculously cool! I am jealous. :( And you got a cool iconic song of the era as well!! Yep, definitely jealous!

Ha!! Yeah as my mom likes to remind me every year that she missed the moon walk live as I arrived a month early. I've heard them all. Spacy, moon shot, out there, spaced out, etc............. Funny thing is they usually fit...................

I prefer Elvis singing this, but this was the UK number one on 27th December 1958 with Conway Twitty.

What's with the racoon nesting on the top of his head?

I'm honored to say that my birthday is represented by the king of guitarists: Les Paul. Here he is with the song that came out in early 1951:

On the US charts (Billboard), it was Bobby Vinton's "Roses Are Red (My Love)":

On the UK charts, it was the only slightly more cool yodelling cowboy Frank Ifield with "I Remember You":

I can say with some certainty that I will never be playing either of these songs on the guitar.
