A little night music

I live 30 minutes walk from the Sydney CBD, in an apartment complex of 6 buildings with over 500 people, nestled in between significant roads and under a flight path.

So...what would you expect to hear at 8:00 pm in the evening?

OK I've failed at attaching a sound file. So guess and we'll see how close you all are.

Not while I was recording. I've included a link above.

My frogs live in the garden (second photo) next to the purple water channel with the red bushes in it. I love those little guys! They sing so sweetly. :)

Shel, if your frogs lived in the garden here, all you'd hear right now is their knees knocking as they shiver themselves to sleep at minus 15C. I guessed they'd just croak! :woohoo:

Nice post. It's good to be reminded that winter will be over sometime. We don't have it as bad as Chris and the rest of the folks in Europe but it was -8C this morning in western Massachusetts where I am now.
