The bagpipes were invented for the express purpose of driving the Scot's enemies from the battlefield without the need for an axe to be swung in anger. Any army of men that could continue to advance TOWARD that sound were obviously fierce warriors indeed, and the Scot's would turn tail, hike up their skirts and run away rather than face men of such steely resolve.

Concur, you just got my son and his fiance this week improved the Australian average IQ by about 1000%.
