Comments by the (understandably) exhausted interviewer:
And the interview itself:

I'm traveling this week and I am in a hotel room. So, I kept the TV off and watched this interview. My thoughts are that Mr Ghomeshi did a really good job conducting this interview. More importantly, Joni Mitchell is a very interesting & a one of a kind original...I like her perspective on life, music and her honesty is remarkable...
Thanks for sharing this post!

The interview is great, I've watched the first 30 minutes, really interesting.
I wish I could translate my synapse noise ( grinding noises) into something as amazing as her music and art !!
I'll be back to watch the rest of the interview later.

Jian Gomeshi, the interviewer, did such a super job. He's right up there with the best, IMHO.
Of course, being of his generation, certain references Joni made seem to have escaped him,
and he must have spent some time knocking his head against the wall since researching them after the fact.
Funny thing ... I'm still watching this video in spurts of various durations, since it's much deeper than these things usually go.
I also end up looking up related videos to better remember the context she is referring to as the interview progresses.
