I have been a fan of this lady for a very long time. I will get to see her in concert for the first time later this week. I always learn a few tricks each time I watch her play. She also has the most beautiful collection of guitars. (At 58, Sharon is nicely preserved too. :) :silly: :) )

One of her early guitar teachers was Andrés Segovia.

Bill

Great video, she is amazing.

I have a book by her.... The Acoustic Answer Book by Sharon Isbin
I've had it for years, I'm such a waste of space !
I have collected all these books and can hardly play two notes.

Thanks for sharing the video.

Enjoy the concert and keep your eyes on the instrument ! :P

Dermot

:)

Edit

She looks like she's in the Dragons Den

She's electrifying, eh ?

:P Image

I reckon.... Music ......keeps Sharon Isbon and Muriel Anderson young.

Bill, I see what you mean..... she has some Aura .......

Chris, Karma can be very cruel sometimes......

On Thursday evening, Sharon will be performing at a Piano Pavilion. I can't go to that show.

On Friday evening, Sharon will be performing in a big ole church. I will be sitting in the 'Heathen Section', hopefully near a door, just in case the ceiling decides to buckle and crumble.
