Joe Bonammassa's version of "Just Got Paid"... Especially the live version recorded at Royal Albert Hall is WAY up on my list. Just watched it again....now I'm ready to tackle anything. Great pick.

Hi TJ,great to hear a fellow TGers is a Joe Bonamassa 's fan. If you don't have it, get the double album (I guess album gives up my age ;) ) at the Robert Albert Hall, all those great songs are just even better.

Hey Sandy,

Make sure you use that song as the backing track when you're making that video of Ness surfing after the IGC this year. :) that would be perfect. :)

It really is hard not to sing along to the Beach Boys. Good choice.

I love Sarah McLachlan and her voice is amazing. But, I can't say her stuff is uplifting, often the opposite. In fact She says that herself. I've seen her in concert a couple of times(fantastic) and she introduced Icecream (one of my favourites) by saying that it was the only non-sad song she had written at that point. :) it's a very sweet love song. :)

Hi Michele

You're so right about Sarah Mclachlan, her songs are total tear jerkers. I just learned her song Angel recently. It's such a beautiful song, and I love playiing and singing it, but it does kinda makes you want to slit your wrists. :S It might be good to add the beach boys to that play list just to lighten things up a little bit. :)

Ness and Lynn both paddled out on my surf boards in Santa cruz last year, while I was getting my chin sutured at Stanford. Maybe Neil got a video of them out there paddling around in the ocean. If so I could make an iMovie of them and add the Beach Boys Surfer Girl song. That would be great. I'll check it out. :)

Cool! That WOULD be uplifting. :)

You might just want to check with them first that they're Ok looking so sporting. They may not want to make us dead envious at their surfing proficiency and general coolness.

How is your chin?
