Hey everyone,
I just watched The Wrecking Crew on Netflix streaming. That’s the documentary on the group of L.A. session musicians that included Tommy Tedesco, Carol Kaye, Leon Russell, and Glen Campbell (to name just a few) who played on many popular songs of the 1960s. It’s enlightening to see just how many songs they played on and how they influenced the music scene from “behind the curtain”. Here’s a WEB site that is dedicated to the film.

If you have a Netflix streaming account, you should be able to watch it tonight. I found it in the Documentaries category under the sub-category of Music & Concert Documentaries.
While you’re there, check out . . . .
Muscle Shoals
20 Feet From Stardom
Alive Inside
History Of The Eagles
Ain’t In It For My Health: A Film About Levon Helms
The Last Waltz
Those are ones that I’ve already checked out and enjoyed.
Another one that looks good is Austin To Boston. I think I’ll check that one out this weekend.
