Gosh, I have no words. That was so cool! Pick a favorite Queen song that I haven't heard in a million years, add some impromptu guitar, and I was literally moved to tears (in a fabulous way - I blame the harmonics).

Music is *awesome*

Seriously, thanks for sharing. This place is just so much fun.

I was so happy to see Neil use his thumb for the F# in the bass of that D chord during the Queen song. lol

What must it be like to hear music and have your brain translate it into chord shapes? I can only wonder and be in awe.

as the owner of a tin ear, I echo your sentiments, Dennis.

P.S., Not implying that you have one.

Thanks Guys. It is very helpful for me to see how Neil goes through the process of listening and applying some theory to transposing a song on the guitar. That was enjoyable to watch.

Really enjoyed this!
Neil, watching this improv session is motivating as well as instructional in ways you might not realize.
There is a personal goal: to be able to emulate this someday. Once I've played (and practiced) as long and well as you have, I should get close. Of course I'll be about, oh, 93 years old then, but how else to better spend my next 35 or so years?

Really, thanks for posting this video.

And a PS. TAXI is one of my (many) all time favorites. A campfire rendition would be GREATLY appreciated!
