Good question. I vib it from side to side (string to string).

Wherever possible I try to use the BB King vibrato side to side and bring the whole hand into play not just the finger

Good question.

I usually go left-to-right. I find up and down hard on an acoustic guitar, probably easier on an electric.

I find it depends on the string; I usually do a vibrato on the upper 4 strings side-to-side (along the length of the strings), and up-and-down on the lower 2 strings.

I always do multiple note vibratos side-to-side.

If I'm not mistaken if you go up and down technically it's a bend and side to side it's vibrato. Many guitarists use a circular motion as a blend of the two. :cheer:
