Slow? Not really. I've been jammin my gitbox for a while now not really playing anything, just banging chords together and making myself feel good.

cold·cock [ kṓld kòk ] (past and past participle cold·cocked, present participle cold·cock·ing, 3rd person present singular cold·cocks)
transitive verb
Definition:
knock somebody out: to knock somebody unconscious, especially with a blunt instrument ( slang )

In this case the blunt instrument being a guitar. Darn shame to attack an innocent guitar with your face!

Thanks.

Tony - You totally cracked me up with that one. It's midnight and I laughed out loud. The dog looked at me like I had 5 heads.......

Good night boys and girls......

Tony glad you asked the question... Had me wondering origin of the saying, bit like blindsided I guess, or sucker punch or whatever...

But did anyone notice what make of guitar he used and what about its tone... would he have been better using Elixirs or Martin strings....

It was a Yamaha classical. I think he had D'Addario's on it.

It would have worked better for him if he'd capo'ed it at the 2nd fret though
