I'm really touched so many have reached out to me over my health issues. It means a lot to know that people care, even if they only know you from a website. That's part of what makes TG the best guitar site around.

God blessed me with a few days of work so I was not able to get to the Doctor for my results as soon as I had planned. But I went today and it's not bad news. Its not good either, but the Doc said that there is no reason for it to be cancer. I don't have any signs of any kind of cancer and I have no symptoms of it either. He thinks what they found was scar tissue from a bad case of pneumonia. Still, he's scheduled me to see a lung specialist and he's taken enough blood to float a boat.

I really have 2 choices. I can worry and drive myself insane with worry, or I can just trust in God and live my life to the fullest. I think I'll go for the second choice. Besides, I don't look good when I'm all stressed out.

I did however, lose another 4 pounds. So, since the first of the year, I've managed to drop 25 pounds. I think buying thinner shirts helped. LOL

Andy, positive thinking is a good health strategy all by itself. Regardless of what's happening worrying won't help. So i think you've got the right idea When you have your results you can act on the advice you get. I'll be thinking positively for you too. It can't hurt.

Good luck with the tight shorts. Lycra?

Andy, thanks for the update. I'm so glad to hear that the doctor doesn't think the spot is cancerous. It's too bad they weren't able to give you a definite answer yet, but it's still good news. My thoughts are with you!

I would echo the girls sentiments Andy. I'm pleased to hear that your news is largely positive. I'm glad you gain comfort from your faith also.

Andy, it is good news that it is not bad news. I do think that being positive helps. Worrying generates toxins. I am glad you are taking the second approach.

Guess I missed the boat on the health issues to begin with. I am very happy to hear that you got some positive news though. Your decision to keep a positive attitude is a very wise one. Like mentioned above, worry and stress does nothing but harm......

Andy, a few of us have been talking about this offline and wishing you the best. I'm not sure why you characterize the news as neither good nor bad. If you don't have cancer, that's good news.
