I found this video inspirational. It won't please everyone's ear, but it did please mine. It comes from the show Glee.

That's great! Remember "Children of a Lesser God"? A great film where William Hurt plays a teacher of young deaf people with Marlee Matlin in the main role. He used music to help them. Worth catching on DVD if you haven't seen it.

I found it very moving. There was a movie with Richard Dreyfuss "Mr. Hollands OPUS" who had a deaf son. Really good movie

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jay, for posting that video. It was very POWERFUL. It should remind us all of what we can do when we just try. I am sending this to everyone I know. Again, thanks.

For those of you who have not watched Glee, you might think about watching the first few episodes and seeing if you like it. My family and I have spent several enjoyable evenings waching this show. The first half of the first season is out on DVD currently.
