This song succeeds in creating interest in the story and a mood so it should last longer, at least another verse (or two?). Very pleasant, Cori and wife.

I admire anyone who takes on songwriting. I agree with the notion that another verse prior to the drowning verse might allow us to learn a bit more about the young lady. Also, with regard to additional instruments, if you have access to a violinist, the final product might benefit from adding him or her to the chorus.

Thanks Jay! A violonist, that would be cool (wish I did know one)...some sparse strings
