Maybe the ultimate test of a campfire strummer is being able to play favorite tunes blindfolded, whatever the level of competence may be. The reason being that it's kinda dark out there by the fire when it gets to be the most fun.
That and being able to stay calm if a skunk decides to wander by.

Hey folks, is it just me, or does the guitar sound WAY better outside near a fire, and food tastes better too.
I have spent most of my adult life wanting to be good at campfire strumming, and thanks to Neil, I am getting there.
I think I will take my Taylor outside today while I roast my practice Thanksgiving turkey today on my homemade BBQ pit.
I will be practicing for my CCS audition.
Hey, that's it, we should have auditions via uploaded videos, with AndyT as the judge, kind of like American Idol, only cool.
I will submit my video after we get my camera working.
