It amazes me that people like Sung-bong (and several members on this site) only lack self-confidence. Sometimes a little encouragement can go a long way............

Good story Bill, difficult not to be touch a movie story like this. and what a voice. Then they say that natural talent does not exist.

Hmmmm, I have a touch of the Tovos on this one..... can't quite believe the story as it came over so structured and rehearsed and I'm not sure anyone can sing like that without considerable coaching. Someone may have seen Slumdog Millionair?

Chris- I'm glad I'm not alone in my cynical response. I also couldn't help but feeling it was a bit too much like the Susan Boyle clip- including the stunned reactions of the judges and audience.
That said, he does have a great voice, and if his story is true, it's both heartbreaking and inspirational.

What a fantastic story!!!
I for one don't miss a single show of American Idol or So you think you can Dance.I'm just AMAZED at all the young talented people out there.All the hard work they put it to crafting such amazing performances.I can only applaud there Hard work and talent.I can only Hope that they will never stop sharing with me and the rest of the world there unbelievable performances!!!BRAVO!!!!To them All,THERE FAN FOR LIFE!

Likewise a wee bit cynical, amazing similarity Susan Boyle and Sung Bo or whatever both So Bo's! Plus South Korea or North? Sout I'd believe it no worries North well maybe a bit Kim Il So bI ishhhh.
If its all true then bring on the next level of the comp, certainly a great voice for sure
