Hello Folks,
Nothing profound here by any means...I just been driving myself (it's a short dive lol!) nuts with this kernel of an idea I have for a
song...I kinda like part(s) of this little original ditty but I kept getting the nagging feeling I had heard it before. However, I couldn't
quite place it. I'd like to know because I don't want keep fussing with it if well, ya know?...if it's already part of an existing tune.
(Like I said, it is just a kernel of an idea and isn't even played that well or anything...so sorry for that.)
So have you heard it before? Something eerily similar? Or, am I in the clear?

Seriously though it sounds pretty cool. Go with and and see where it takes you. There are only so many chord and note progressions out there so I'm sure some of it could sound familiar. Who cares. Led Zeppelin never had a problem with it.

Thanks everybody, for the listen. This is one of those quick spontaneous posts...in hindsight maybe I shouldn't have put up....Perhaps it not the melody and just the generic chord progression that triggered the familiar...I still dunno exactly. lol.
But thanks everyone, for taking the time...and putting up with my randomness...(probably bordering on slightly tackiness in hindsight...sorry)
I'm actually glad it doesn't just reek of another tune to people! So that is a good thing.

A couple of small bits vaguely familiar but heck that could be anything. I go with Wiley
1) WHO CARES!!!!! Get a lawyer when the royalties come pouring in!!! I think today they refer to it not as 'plagiarism' as much as 'sampling'!
2) Guess who gives who the credit for the above.. Who cares?
