Chris and Marc,

I enjoyed that a lot. I also liked your video of the restaurant and the "pretty woman". :) I am glad I recognized your voice Chris 'cause 1/2 your head is missing

Great job by both,

bob

Hey guys. Great job on the tune. I am of the opinion that Roy Orbison had a once in a generation voice. Some better judges than me agree. I recall Den thinks he sounds like a woman, which is surely a compliment? Pierre, Marc and I tried for this when we met, but my ability to keep the riff going was not up to speed. Well done on that aspect.

Anyway...I do waffle at times. Great job, great to see you catching up. Don't be surprised Chris if one day you open the door to a big green Ogre. (I will probably warn you though!)

Chris , that did not take you long to upload this. The Ochsen is certainly one of the top best restaurant I had a chance to try. The variety of taste, texture, color and presentation is quite unique. Needless to say the service was fantastic. We were commenting on stuff and the lady would overhear us and just surprise us with little unplanned food. An example: I was commenting on the blue potatoes they have (which I never heard of before) . She took on herself to go to the kitchen place some on plate with one cut in half with a little green decoration and brought it back with some explanations about the unusual veggie. Chris had his finger stucked on the on button of his camera, but I am glad he did, good memories

I thought we did pretty good on the song at the time it was taken and the alcohol.

Another great evening,

Marc

Marc in Switzerland again ? Must be busy shoveling money into phantom bank accounts again

Good thing you guys did let go of the shovels to play guitar !

Chris, I don't know if you experiment much with Roy Orbison tunes, but judging from this, you definitely should.
You can do some spooky vocals, and Roy's tunes are full of that kind of tone.

Marc, you deliver very well here, consistent playing and right on track (especially what with socializing and all) serious technical progress !

Big smile here, very glad to have this peek !

Pierre

Guys, this was so much fun to watch! I loved your version of Pretty Woman (killer vocals for Chris and congrats to Marc for playing that riff so well and so consistently throughout the entire song!!) and I really liked the snippets from the restaurant. The food looked delish. Where are the owners from? The woman (your waitress? The owner?) sounded like she could be American, from the little bit I heard). I also thought it was interesting that you were speaking English with them instead of Swiss German.

Like Willem, I was also curious about what Marc was wearing around his neck! His name and directions to get back to Chris's place, all written in German? :)

Ok, Marc, when are you going to head to the mid-west? You're being very unfair to us! :)

Thanks Bob and Mark

Tony glad you enjoyed, we were almost there when we met. You actually interested me in the song.

Pierre, Chris can sing anything, low, high, drunken or not :) We need to schedule for our next meeting

Ness actually that ending which look simple I thought was not that easy for me.

Thanks Darryl, I hope that we will have a chance to play, we are not that far from each other

Willem, that name tag is my badge I carry at the exhibition I am attending. I am sure Vanessa is always spot on her music, that is why she is so good. I just PM you

Suzi, the lady waitress was Swiss (the best waitress I ever had), but I could not detect any German in her accent. The owner (which we thank on the way out is) I am not sure of (Chris probably remember). They actually have a little booklet that explains the story but it is in German (after asking for a beer and the bathroom, I am limited). They are part of an association of chefs. One of theses days I will be in your area. It is not actually my territory, (I got the other side of the world ;) ) but if I have to help my co worker and it is in your area , I will let you know for sure.
