Thanks for the link to your introduction, Vanessa. Since I haven't been here since the beginning, I never saw it until now. Cute picture! What was the story behind it?

Well, my "registration date" (which is what Chris instructed us to use) is: 2009-06-16 The date I started as a Target (paying) member was 2009-07-22. I've added myself to the list. But I could have sworn Chris was a member before me. Really strange!!

Hey Jean, thanks!

The story was a single dad, who sung and played the guitar. His two daughters wanted to play as well, so he taught them to read music, play classical stuff, but also rock/pop-music etc. I'll be eternally grateful for that, I tell him every time I see him!!

A little more details - I joined after seeing Neil in concert with Keola Beamer at Villa Montalvo. If you haven't seen Neil in concert, as you might guess, he talks a bit in between songs (although, not quite as much as the country singer in the movie Nashville :laugh: )

He mentioned his web site totally guitars and I joined in November 2009. I think I signed up for target in December 2009 - just in time to get the founding member badge, although it sounds like I missed the real early days
