I have a beginners grasp on scales and keys. I can construct the chords by writing them out and I understand their names for the most part. However, I am not at a point of fluency.

I have seen books on scales, and they can be somewhat helpful, but I feel a bit lost while reading them and kind of need some direction on progressing through them. I can play through all of the major scales in one or two different patterns, but most other scales are not in my memory yet.

Could anyone suggest any books or some exercises to help in gaining a bit more knowledge on scales and keys. I would really like to get a bit more fluent with these.

I have looked through all of the lessons in the TARGET section, but I must be missing them. I can't seem to find the lessons that are talked about. If anyone knows the right direction to these, I would appreciate that as well.

Thanks for any and all info.
