Bear, At least you had a childhood! I was born on the clock and haven't had a day off since. Maybe someday I won't have to pay to go to work... Plus you know of course that I have to walk to work, uphill, both ways, in 14 feet of tsunami snow, filled with rocks and gravel....

Now if you said you had to slog to work thru three feet of poi I MIGHT be sympathetic!!!

Ah dinner I remember we had that once as child it was dishwash soup from the local restuarant back door

That reminds me of when I was young we were so poor that we had to eat road apples just to have something to eat. I was walking down the road one day and scooped up some old road apples and I went to a neighbors farm to get some salt.

An old Scotsman opened the door and I politely asked for some salt. He fetched a newspaper and made a funnel for the salt. He brought it back to the door and said "Here's yer salt, but laddie you don't need to eat those. Geh out back and get ye some fresh ones!!!
