Way to go Chas! Knew you'd unearth it if it was out there... I can still hear the voices .... old Arther Gabriel (was it?)... which reminds me of one of my mother's imortal sayings: "I'll never forget what's his name!"

Nice video Chris. It reminds me of my first trip to Oz. We were in a pub and one of the locals asked me, "How do you make a crust, mate?" I answered, "I don't know, I'm not very good at cooking or baking".
They had a very good laugh at my dumbass. :)

(He was asking what I did for a living.)

Good on ja Bill! I hope you retaliated by calling them all Bruce and Sheila and making comments about wearing wellies and wrestling sheep. (if you have to ask, you're not old enough!).

No Chris, but when I got back home my friend in Perth emailed me an 'Aussie to English' dictionary. lol
Some of my favorite entries as I recall;
"Dropped your guts"
"White pointer"
"Dill"
"Drongo"
"Illywhacker"

That brings back some memories. I remember Rolf Harris from TV in England. Was it Blue Peter? I still find myself humming "Tie me Kangaroo Down" to this day!

My ROlf Harris memories are of him doing paintings with house paint brushes and house paint, some amazing art work:

His use of colour is astounding lol
