Bear, Yes, like Chas said, you are right behind us in the posting department.

Chas, If everyone would quit posting for a week, I'd have more time to practice!

That's funny! I think it's a sliding scale-- posting vs. practice!!

Quince,

Great work on a tough song! Did you sit half on/off camera on purpose?

Yea I did. I wanted to show the left hand work more than I did my mug.

How much I play has alot to do with the physical condition of my hands and elbows and how tired I am. Since I became semi retired a few years ago, I have gotten really serious about guitar. I had known basic chords and some bar chords as well as some finger picking patterns and had played on and off for many years but always on and advanced beginners level. Online lessons have really ramped up my learning curve. This site has an incredible number of songs that I want to learn and that are broken down in a way that makes it possible. I just finished Who'll Stop the Rain and am working on Down on the Corner and Vincent (from another site). Back to the original question- I generally get to play about six days a week. There is always about one day a week that things get too hectic to get to sit down and play. One hour a day would be a safe estimate though some days it is 40 minutes and other 90 minutes. Love the Target Program and looking forward to learning Harvest Moon and some Grateful Dead songs.
